Welcome to Lappy Support. By booking a service slot or allowing our technician to inspect your device, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Service Engagement

  • Lappy Support acts as an independent third-party service provider for laptop hardware repairs and maintenance.
  • We provide door-to-door (onsite) service in Gurugram, Delhi, Noida, and surrounding NCR regions.
  • The time slot booked by you is an estimated arrival time. Actual arrival may vary slightly due to traffic or previous job delays.

2. Inspection Charges & Pricing

  • A minimum Visiting/Inspection Charge of ₹300 applies to all bookings.
  • If you approve the repair quote provided by the technician, this ₹300 is adjusted (waived off) against the final bill.
  • If you decide NOT to proceed with the repair after diagnosis, the ₹300 inspection charge is payable to the technician for their time and travel.
  • All pricing estimates given over the phone are tentative. Final pricing is confirmed only after physical inspection.

3. Data Safety & Liability

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Lappy Support is NOT responsible for any data loss.
  • While we take utmost care, hardware repairs (especially involving motherboards or hard drives) carry inherent risks to data.
  • It is the customer's responsibility to backup all data before the technician begins work.
  • We are not liable for any loss of software, files, or operating system corruption during the repair process.

4. Warranty Policy

  • Spare Parts: Warranty on replaced parts (Screens, Batteries, SSDs) ranges from 3 months to 1 year, depending on the specific component brand. This will be mentioned on your invoice.
  • Service Warranty: We provide a 30-day service warranty on the specific issue fixed.
  • Exclusions: Warranty is void if the device suffers physical damage, liquid damage, or electrical surges after our repair.
  • Warranty is applicable only on the specific part replaced, not on the entire laptop.

5. Unforeseen Issues

Sometimes, fixing one issue may reveal another underlying problem (e.g., a dead laptop might have both a faulty charger and a motherboard issue). In such cases, the technician will inform you of any additional costs before proceeding. You have the right to decline further repairs.

6. Independent Status

We are an independent service provider. We are not an authorized service center for Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple, Acer, or Asus. Any use of brand names is solely for descriptive purposes to identify the devices we repair.

7. Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
