At Lappy Support, we provide transparent hardware repair services. Since we deal with onsite labor and physical component diagnostics, our refund policy is designed for service-based work.
1. Visiting / Inspection Charges
Our technicians travel to your location to physically diagnose the hardware issue. Therefore:
- The Visiting Charge (₹300) is Non-Refundable if the technician has already visited your location.
- If you choose not to proceed with the repair after the diagnosis, this charge covers the technician's time and travel expenses.
- If you cancel the booking before the technician has started traveling, you will not be charged.
2. Spare Parts & Hardware
- Warranty Replacement: If a spare part (Screen, Battery, Keyboard, etc.) installed by us malfunctions within its warranty period, we will replace it free of cost.
- No Refunds on "Change of Mind": Once a part is installed and verified working in front of you, we cannot offer a refund simply because you changed your mind.
- Refunds for parts are only processed if we are unable to provide a replacement for a defective item within 7 working days.
3. Service Warranty (Re-Service)
We provide a Service Warranty (usually 30 days) on the specific hardware repair work done.
- If the same hardware issue reoccurs within the warranty period, we will fix it again for free.
- We generally do not offer monetary refunds for service charges once the job is successfully completed and approved by the customer onsite. We offer "Re-service" instead.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel your booking at any time before the technician's arrival by calling us at 97187 27509. There are no cancellation fees if cancelled prior to the technician's departure.
5. Processing Time
In the rare event that a monetary refund is approved (e.g., advance payment for a part that is out of stock), the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
